- Social services offering roles that make a real difference in people’s lives.
- This group offered 24,000 new jobs
- Retail also saw a boost, especially in food and beverage stores, as workers returned from a strike for a total of 24,000.

- Paychecks are growing!
- The average hourly wage rose to $36, and over the past year, wages have climbed by 3.8%.

There was only a slight change in employment over the month in other major industries, including mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction; construction; manufacturing; wholesale trade; information; financial activities; professional and business services; leisure and hospitality; and other services.
